Custom Home Build
Custom Build Process
Phase 1: Initial Consultation Meeting
During this meeting we will begin going over floor plan options, as well as going over and providing a rough cost of the build of your dream home. Floor plans will be drawn custom to the individual needs of each client.
Floorplan - things to consider:
Number of bedrooms and bathrooms
Ceiling height
Garage size - number of cars - 2, 3, 4, etc.
Room location/layout
Where do you want to allocate the majority of your square footage? - Living area, master suite, kitchen, etc.
Additional features - built in dressers, folding tables, benches, linen closets, etc.
Phase 2: Floor Plan/Cost Breakdown Finalization
During this time we will finalize the floor plans of your home as well as finalize the cost breakdown for the build.
Cost Breakdown - things to consider:
Appliances
Countertop material - quartz, granite, marble, etc.
Cabinets - Where do you want cabinets? Stained or painted? Open shelving? This can be ANYTHING the carpenter will build.
Exterior façade - brick, siding, rock, etc.
Phase 3: Financing
During this phase you will be working with your chosen bank/lender on getting a construction loan for your build. Please be advised we do NOT offer financing options.
Phase 4: Contract Signing
Upon completion of the above phases, we will take this time to review the floor plan, cost breakdown, and financing plan. Once both parties, client and Rogers Engineering and Construction, are satisfied we will sign contracts.
Phase 5: Project Timeline
Starting the day we break ground on your lot, the build will have a timeline of 7-12 months. We will go over the stages of construction and discuss communication preferences - i.e., weekly updates, bi-weekly updates, etc.
Phase 6: Project Completion
At this point we are nearing the end of the build of your home! We will do a walk-through and note any touch-ups/changes that need to be made before you move into your brand new home!
